0 Thief Breaks Into Aishwarya Rai's Home — Was Aaradhya in peril?

Jalsa, the Mumbai home Aishwarya Rai shares with her husband Abhishek, daughter Aaradhya, and Abhishek's parents Jaya and Amitabh Bachchan, was broken into over the weekend. Amitabh Bachchan informed the world of the fact on his blog:

Thief Breaks Into Aishwarya Rai's Home

Spent some anxious moments yesterday since we had a break in! The guy was caught and is with the police now under investigation. Seems like a professional, for he had entered the most sensitive area of the house, Jalsa. Cops and security are in over drive now. In the end nothing is secure, irrespective of how much precaution one takes.

The news is somewhat unnerving, as Jalsa is one of the most secure homes in the city. It's a huge bungalow and has excellent security, and yet a burglar was still able to enter the heart of the home. Amitabh didn't give many details about where in the home the criminal was found, only referring to him having access to the "most sensitive area" of the house.

Was that "sensitive area" one of the family rooms? Is it possible that a thief not only entered the house but made his way to Aishwarya and Aaradhya's rooms? Was the family in danger at any point?

The details of the incident remain unclear, and Amitabh didn't find it necessary to remark on them in further posts. He flew to London and had nothing more to say about the break in.

Obviously the security at Jalsa will have to be improved. But if a thief could break into a building as secure as Jalsa, what hope do ordinary Mumbai residents have of their safety in the city? The Bachchans should be (and no doubt are) grateful that they can afford to live so securely to begin with.

0 Why is Aishwarya Rai not viewing baby Aaradhya to the Public?

Abhishek Bachchan explains why he and Aishwarya Rai are not showing their baby Aaradhya to the media

Everyone is curious to see Aishwarya Rai and Abhishek Bachchan’s seven-month-old daughter Aaradhya, but the duo have been concealing the little one from the media. Abhishek explains why?

Why is Aishwarya Rai not viewing baby Aaradhya to the Public?

When a blurry snap shot of a baby’s eyes goes viral on the web, one can understand the curiosity surrounding the child. So it could be that Aishwarya Rai has been fervently protecting her baby from the blinding strobelights of the hawkish paparazzi, lest the little one is scared.

Warding off the suggestion that they are being overprotective about Aaradhya, Abhishek recently said that he doesn’t want to “show off” his daughter to the world.

“I am not comfortable with that, I don't need to show her off. She is not an item that she has to be put up to display. She is a child and Aishwarya and I would like her to grow up as normal as possible. I do understand that her parents and grandparents (Amitabh Bachchan and Jaya Bachchan) are public figures but she is not yet and let her enjoy that. I have grown up in this industry and have been in this position so I understand the curiosity,” Abhishek Bachchan told reporters.

And even as the world has yet to see the first full glimpse of Aaradhya, grandpa Amitabh Bachchan is enjoying playing with the little one.

“Ever realized playing with the 'little one' for just a few minutes could be equivalent to an entire two hour workout in the gym! Child is the father of man,” Big B recently wrote on his blog.

0 Kris Humphries told ex that Kim Kardashian's sex tape was dramatic by her own mother, information says

Kris Humphries trashed Kim Kardashian and her family in conversations and text messages to his former girlfriend, Myla Sinanaj, telling Sinanaj that Kris Jenner not only directed her daughter to shoot her infamous sex tape with Ray J, but to re-shoot it, because Jenner didn't think the first one was pretty enough, TMZ reports.

Kardashian has subpoenaed Sinanaj in her divorce case with Humphries, and TMZ reports Sinanaj has a lot to say about what Humphries told her about his relationship with his famous estranged wife.

Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries' Courtship and 72-Day Marriage

In addition to the sex tape claim, sources tell us Sinanaj has numerous text messages in which Humphries says Sinanaj is the love of his life, and he wants to get the divorce over with quickly so they can spend the rest of their time on earth together.

In several of the messages, TMZ was told Humphries says specifically that he's "moved on" from Kim.

The information is extremely damaging to Humphries, because he's alleging in his divorce that Kim has destroyed him emotionally by allegedly defrauding him into believing it was a real marriage, TMZ reports. It turns out Humphries has been seeing Sinanaj since mid-January, so his devastation argument may be hard to swallow.

Sources close to the Kardashians tell TMZ that Humphries is lying about the sex tape. They say Kim made it clear at the beginning of their relationship she would not discuss the tape because she didn't want to be judged by it.

0 Prince William moves 30, succeed to half of Diana's estate

The Duke of Cambridge celebrated his first anniversary with Catherine Middleton and toasted Queen Elizabeth II's Diamond Jubilee. And on Thursday, he adds another milestone to his list: his 30th birthday.

Prince William turns 30

He's now also legally entitled to half of his mother's inheritance, which was left to him after Princess Diana was killed in a car crash in 1997. His half of the inheritance, according to The Daily Telegraph, would likely be around $15.5 million, with the current currency exchange rate.

William has been in the spotlight as the eventual heir to the British throne since early childhood. He's endured his parents' breakup, his mother's death and his own big royal wedding all while the world watched along with him.

The Duke of Cambridge has recently said he and his wife are excited about the prospect of bringing a child into the world.

“I’m just very keen to have a family, and both Catherine and I, you know, are looking forward to having a family in the future," he told ABC's Katie Couric before the Diamond Jubilee.

To celebrate William's big day, we wanted to take a look back at his life. After all, many people would say that he and Catherine have helped the royal family become popular again by making the monarchy more accessible to the public.

Click through the gallery above to see William's evolution from Diana and Charles' lovable young son to the Duke of Cambridge.

0 Check out Emma Stone's 'Amazing' red carpet looks

This is a message for Emma Stone: Maybe Jim Carrey, in all his creepy, close-up goodness, was onto something when he called her "all-the-way beautiful" in his YouTube love letter.

The actress has been casting her web of attraction around the world as she helps roll out the much-anticipated "The Amazing Spider-Man." Alongside her onscreen superhero and real life boyfriend Andrew Garfield, we've seen Stone walk the red carpet for premieres in Tokyo, Seoul, Moscow, London, Paris and Berlin so far.

Emma Stone's 'Amazing' red carpet looks

Stone, a natural blonde who sometimes goes red, is the cover subject of the latest New York magazine. Her "Spidey sense is tingling," says a promo for the article, "she knows you're watching her." Great, now we really feel creepy. But the 23-year-old actress says of that Carrey video, "I was so flattered I can’t even tell you. Honest!"

That doesn't mean she's buying all the attention she gets for her looks. "The pretty thing ... It was never a value to me growing up," Stone told New York mag. "I always thought I was like the goofy, wonky one.

"I don’t actually recognize the person that’s out there," she says of her red-carpet persona. "It's like there’s this outside person, and there’s me."

0 Fergie: I don’t want to be ‘upsetting about sucking in my stomach’

There's no denying Black Eyed Peas singer Fergie (born Stacy Ferguson) has one of the best bodies in pop music — but even she has her insecurities. "I've learned to be more accepting of myself," she reveals in the July issue of Self magazine. "I'm 37, not 18, and I've got the lines to prove it." Fortunately, Fergie's got the body of an 18-year-old, but admits she has to work out a lot in order to keep her body toned and trim. "I want to be able to run around without worrying about sucking in my stomach!"

Fergie: I don’t want to be ‘worrying about sucking in my stomach’

It helps that her husband, "Transformers" actor Josh Duhamel, is also a gym rat. The two love to exercise together as much as their busy schedules allow. "Working out with Josh inspires me, but he is competitive," says Fergie. "And loud! Men scream and go crazy in the gym. I'm a silent workout partner, but when my adrenaline gets up, I talk trash. I'll wait, and when Josh does something embarrassing, I'll throw a jab! I used to yell and curse in the gym, but now I'm looking for a more healthy, positive feeling." See pics of Fergie and Josh working out at X17Online!

On balancing her career and her personal life:
"I needed to take a break from performing, and from the Peas, to be happy. I craved female time, and time with my husband to feed my soul. My life now is about being balanced. I'm passionate about work and working out, seeing friends and family, and letting my hair down once in a while."

On her special date nights with her husband:
"On Saturday nights, we like going to mass, then dinner. It feeds our spiritual side, and it's great to hear Josh sing in church — he's a great singer. Then we go out and have a really nice wine, like all good Catholics."

On starting a family:
"I'm excited to have a child with Josh. He'll be an amazing dad."

On how she gets an extra boost of energy: "Josh turned me on to juicing, and now I do it when I wake up and between meals. The energy it gives me is amazing — I hardly need caffeine anymore. We blend kale, spinach, broccoli, and celery with a banana, an apple, and a pear. We have two Vitamixes going at once! But I'm only really strict about what I eat when I know I have to be in a bathing suit."

On her private at-home oasis: "I call the fifth floor of my house Fergieland. It's where I go to refresh myself and be inspired. It's a total boudoir, decorated in black, white, and red. The rest of our home is very earthy."

0 Russell Brand jinks Katy Perry lookalike

Russell Brand is dating Katy Perry lookalike Emily Hartridge.

The 'Rock Of Ages' actor reportedly hit it off with the MSN TV host during an interview at London's Dorchester Hotel.

Russell Brand dating Katy Perry

Now the 28-year-old beauty and Russell, 37, have been texting back and forth after he licked cake he had thrown off her arm.

A friend told The Sun: 'Russell is definitely winning her over.

'Emily joked they had a love-hate relationship because he hurled food at her. Only Russell could get away with covering someone in cake then licking it off.'

Following the incident, Russell asked an aide to retrieve her telephone number and the pair has been in contact.

Emily tweeted: 'Got to be a good day when @rustyrockets licks your elbow mid interview.'

The comedian will officially dissolve his 14-month marriage to 'I Kissed A Girl' singer Katy, 27, next month.

Speaking on ITV1's 'Lorraine' show yesterday (13.06.12), he said he still loved her but added: 'This is a new time.'

He told television host Lorraine Kelly that the divorce had also been difficult 'because there's a lot of admin'.

0 Miss USA 2012: Rhode Island’s Olivia Culpo

Looking at her face, it was impossible to say exactly what was going through Olivia Culpo’s mind.

The 20-year-old cellist from Rhode Island had just been crowned Miss USA — beating 50 other beauty queens for the right to represent the United States in the Miss Universe pageant — and her eyes were wide with a mix of terror, ecstasy, and disbelief.

Miss USA 2012 Rhode Island’s Olivia Culpo

And, really, who can blame her?

Culpo just completed her sophomore year at Boston University, and folks who know her say she didn’t slack on her studies even as she was preparing to strut across a stage, on national TV, in a lilac bikini and then a fuchsia evening gown with a sparkly belt.(Google)

“She has this very wonderful way about her that’s very calming,” says Louis Mayhew, Culpo’s academic advisor at BU. “Think about the stress level just being a college student can cause, and then think about what she’s been doing.”

Our attempts to reach Culpo Monday were initially unsuccessful because the Miss USA crown comes with a carefully orchestrated PR offensive that begins Tuesday with an appearance on “LIVE! With Kelly.” But persistence paid off, and Culpo spoke to us on the phone for three minutes after arriving in New York from Las Vegas, where the pageant had been held at the Planet Hollywood casino.

“I was just in shock,” Culpo said, explaining her reaction. “All 51 of those women were beautiful on the inside and outside.”

A graduate of St. Mary Academy Bay View, an all-girls Catholic school in Riverside, R.I., Culpo told us she was short and chubby as a youngster, “a little bit of an awkward stage.”

Culpo’s father, Peter, is part of the Wilcox Hospitality Group, whose business interests in Boston include the Parish Cafe, the Lower Depths, and Brian Poe’s soon-to-open Tip Tap Room. (We’re told Miss USA used to work at the Parish Cafe, and her sister, Aurora, and cousin, Josh, still do.)

Culpo inherited her love of music from her parents, and began playing the cello in the second grade.

“You know, when I thought about it, I thought, of course she can win,” says Mayhew, who nonetheless admitted that he watched the Celtics-Heat playoff game instead of the pageant Sunday. “Olivia has a lot of talents, including the cello. She’s just a very bright young woman.”

In addition to the swimsuit and evening gown competition, the pageant includes an interview question. But the query for Culpo was unusual: ‘‘Would you feel it would be fair for a transgender woman to win the Miss USA title over a natural-born woman?’’ And her response may have helped her win.

‘‘I do think that that would be fair, but I can understand that people would be a little apprehensive to take that road because there is a tradition of natural-born women,” Culpo said. “But today where there are so many surgeries and so many people out there who have a need to change for a happier life, I do accept that because I believe it’s a free country.’’

Asked Monday about the question — and her answer — Culpo said it was no big deal.

“I thought it was really an easy question because it’s common knowledge that this is a free country,” she said. “Everyone has the freedom to choose in this country.”

The demands of being Miss USA, and the time needed to prepare for the Miss Universe pageant, will require Culpo to take a year off from school. There’s a ton of traveling and she will also be representing Susan G. Komen for the Cure. But wouldn’t she like to walk around the BU campus wearing her new crown?

“Probably not,” she said, laughing. “I think people would get sick of that.”

0 Aishwarya Rai dappled with daughter Aaradhya

Aishwarya Rai-Bachchan made her first public appearance with her five-month-old bundle of joy, Aaradhya, last weekend at Mumbai's Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport.

The actress was on her way back from the Cannes Film Festival. Hubby Abhishek Bachchan enthusiastically went inside the airport to receive Ash and their daughter while pa-and-ma-in-law Amitabh Bachchan and Jaya waited outside in the car, to welcome them home.

Aishwarya Rai with Aaradhya

However, the waiting shutterbugs eager to reveal the first glimpse of Baby B to the world did catch the Bachchans on the wrong foot. Ash walked out of the common exit instead of the VIP one and predictably, was immediately mobbed by the media.

But India's only bona fide global star looked only barely hassled, maintaining her cool with a faint hint of that famous smile playing at her lips as she walked out.

Although the Bachchans did not make any obvious attempt to dodge the media, at one point, protective dad Abhishek was seen warning a cameraperson against getting too close to Ash or the baby. "Abhishek suddenly got angry when one cameraperson almost came in Aishwarya's way. He asked the man to be careful," an eyewitness said. Big B, who was in the driver's seat, was seen losing his cool too, when a few photographers in their attempt to capture a close-up of Baby B blocked the car's path.

0 Exposed! Obama used to smoke tub

Michelle Obama has opened up about her husband’s past drug use during an appearance on Comedy Central’s The Daily Show to promote her new cookbook.

The First Lady said Barack Obama gave up drugs at a young age because he realised he ‘could do more with his life’.

She made the revelation when the show’s host Jon Stewart asked her about recent claims of the President’s smoking habit during his high school and college years, the Daily Mail reported.

Teenage Obama used to smoke pot

It follows excerpts released from a forthcoming biography of the President by David Maraniss that portrayed him as a party-loving pot smoker.

The book, titled Barack Obama: The Story, reveals how a teenage Obama and his friends formed The Choom Gang – slang for smoking marijuana – in which he invented inhaling techniques and rode a car called the Choomwagon.

Though the President has disclosed his drug use in previous statements- including a portion of his memoir – the new details have surprised some because of the extent of his usage.

On the Daily Show, Stewart joked that the stories about the president as a young man resembled the ‘script of a Cheech and Chong movie.’

While Michelle didn’t directly address the claims in Maraniss’ book, she did say that her husband underwent a change during his college years.

“By the time he was in college, like so many young people, he realised that he could do more with his life,” she responded.

“He had a mother that was always saying you’re so gifted, you’re so talented, slap him on the head, ‘get yourself together.’”

“When he lost his father, that was one of those click-in moments. And he really buckled down, he transferred schools, went to Columbia, and thought about how to use his life to the fullest,” she said.

0 Britney Spears On ‘The X Factor’: Preview the Pop Star As A Evaluator

Britney Spears no doubt has the star quality Simon Cowell was searching for when he went on the lookout for new judges for The X Factor‘s second season. But does the pop star have what it takes to be a judge? Many (including us) are dubious of Brit’s ability to give helpful, pointed and smart criticism to aspiring singers, as Spears hasn’t exactly been all that articulate or in-depth in her own interviews. Giving us a bit of a preview ahead of the show’s Season 2 premiere are four recently surfaced audio clips of the “Criminal” singer interacting with contestants and giving critiques of their performances. And since we abide by the rule “Judge Not Lest Ye Be Judged”, we’ve included our own personal critique of her judging ability. Check them out below!

Britney Spears On ‘The X Factor'

CLIP #1:

BRIT-TIQUE: “I felt like your songs were really great and your voices are magical. When you sing you have a nice soothing sound, and I wish you could wake me up in the morning,” she says. “Singing!” she adds after Simon’s teasing.
OUR CRITIQUE: Brit is entering Paula Abdul nonsense-judging territory with this one. “Really great” and “magical” don’t help anybody. They’re barely words that describe anything, really. And her stilted delivery makes it seem like she’s pulling her comments out of thin air. Secondly, we have to give Britney one giant demerit for speaking in some weird Paris Hilton-y baby voice. It’s fine hearing her sing this way — but we refuse to believe this isn’t her attempt at being cute and feminine and totally “on”. (In fact, what happened to that just-as-mysterious deep voice she had during her Femme Fatale promotional cycle?)

CLIP #2:

BRIT-TIQUE: Okay, there’s no real critique here, just Brit fumbling over a contestant’s name and asking about his choice of clothing. Small talk before the audition — which we kind of can’t wait to see. Jake sounds like an emo-geek about to prove he’s a heartthrob by performing an Enrique Iglesias song.
OUR CRITIQUE: We’re glad to hear her being friendly and welcoming with the contestants, as that can put them at ease and calm their nerves. Too bad she sounds like a cartoon beauty pageant contestant.

CLIP #3:

BRIT-TIQUE:
“It sounded like I was listening to Alvin and The Chipmunks,” says Brit. “I think your voice was too high, sweetie.”
OUR CRITIQUE: A criticism, for sure, but she delivers it too delicately. She doesn’t necessarily need to go for the jugular, but don’t come off like you have no authority, Brit.

CLIP #4:

BRIT-IQUE:
After a contestant reportedly disses Demi Lovato‘s vocal ability, Brit comes to her co-judge’s defense. “I want to know who let you on stage,” quips Brit (losing her baby voice for a second). “I feel uncomfortable with you even staring at me.”
OUR CRITIQUE: Confident, unafraid to appear less-than-chipper and standing up for her fellow judge? That’s the Brit we want to see on the show.

0 Victoria Beckham is too chic too smile

Victoria Beckham knows she doesn't appear happy in pictures.

The fashion designer - who is married to soccer star David Beckham - is famous for looking demure and hardly smiling for photographs, but insists she is happy in her daily life.

She told German edition of Interview magazine: "Yes, I created this persona and I'm very different from that.

Victoria Beckham is too posh too smile

"I don't feel like I have to scream and shout about it - I know I am a happy person. So I don't get upset when people comment on the fact that I look quite miserable all the time. But people think I am.

"And you know, sometimes I think the same thing when I look at the pictures."

Beckham, 38, has plenty to be happy about, with the four children she raises with her husband - Brooklyn, 13, Romeo, nine, Cruz, seven and ten-month-old daughter Harper - and her successful, self-titled fashion line, which made a reported £15 million in sales in the first three months of 2011.

Beckham also looks back fondly on her days as a singer with girl group The Spice Girls in the 90s, but admitted she was never a great singer.

She added: "Was music my talent really? No, I don't think I was particularly talented.

"With the other girls, the five of us all really worked together. But talented? I sound a bit odd to myself."

0 Pippa Middleton evades point out Queen's Diamond Jubilee in Latest Party Tips

Pippa Middleton posted a new article on her online site, The Party Times, giving party tips for big events taking place in Britain. The sister of Kate Middleton, the Duchess of Cambridge, was cautious in her approach by not mentioning the Queen's Diamond Jubilee. It's fairly obvious she's referring to a milestone celebration with the Jubilee in June.

Pippa wrote:

"Lots of big events are planned across the nation this summer to celebrate all things British, providing everyone with a great excuse to get out there and join in the fun.

Pippa Middleton

"Here are a few ideas for inspiration if you're planning a bumper British knees-up on your street, to share with family, friends and neighbours, come rain or shine."

Middleton wrote tips about decorating, fun things for kids, and party foods. She gives great advice...clearly her specialty.

Pippa Middleton has been accused of using her connections to the royal family as a way of promoting her professional and personal life. To be fair, the 2012 Summer Olympics will be held in London and her party suggestions could also be associated with street celebrations the British will hold as the world's eyes are concentrated on England.

Will Pippa give more sports-themed party tips before the Olympics take place?

0 Aishwarya Rai Bachchan grips her head high in Cannes following baby weight review

She may have been criticised in her native India for not losing her baby weight fast enough, but Aishwarya Rai Bachchan looked nothing short of dazzling at the AmfAR Cinema Against Aids gala in Cannes this week.

Baby weight or not, the Bollywood actress, 38, lived up to her title of "the world's most beautiful woman" in a gold embroidered sari and co-ordinating tailored jacket with Mandarin collar.

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan

Her hair was piled high on her head and adorned with a slender gold band, while her make-up was understated, save the dark eyeliner around her eyes.

The former Miss World gave birth to her first child, a daughter, in November last year. But an unfortunate recent photograph that captured her with a double chin sparked a flurry of cruel criticism, with some suggesting that she has a "duty" to her fans to regain her pre-pregnancy figure.

One website posted a video of the star looking less than her usual svelte self, flicking between photographs of her pre-birth and photos now. Called "Aishwarya Rai's shocking weight gain," the clip, which came accompanied by elephant sound effects, has been seen more than 500,000 times.

Dozens more videos in a similar vein have been posted, each with viewing figures in the tens or hundreds of thousands. Comments left after the video prove that many of those watching have little sympathy for the star.

"She is a Bollywood actress and it is her duty to look good and fit," one said. Another added: "She needs to learn from people like Victoria Beckham who are back to size zero weeks after their delivery."

Mrs Rai-Bachchan has commendably remained cool-headed about the criticism, and has been open about the fact that she is in no hurry to lose the few extra pounds she gained during her pregnancy.
She has said that she simply wants to "enjoy motherhood."

Indeed, if last night's appearance at Cannes is anything to go by, she has little to worry about. Nor is she short of support in her goal to prioritise her new daughter.

Though there is certainly more critique than praise, many have come out in defence of the star, saying that she, like any new mother, should be focusing on her infant, not her diet.

One wrote: "She is a real women looking after a baby. We should be concern [sic] for her health and happiness especially if she is nursing the baby."

Another said. "Kudos to you Aish for keeping it real and letting your baby have all the bonding and attention she needs with you. Enjoy your life."

0 Facebook's Mark Zuckerberg gets married

Facebook co-founder and CEO Mark Zuckerberg wed longtime girlfriend Priscilla Chan on Saturday, announcing the nuptials through a status update on the social networking site. The 28-year-old billionaire's wedding took place a day after Facebook's initial public offering on the Nasdaq stock exchange on Friday. More than 280,000 people "liked" Zuckerberg's status change, which was accompanied by a photo of the smiling couple in wedding attire in a small, verdant outdoor setting with a string of lights behind them. In the photo, the famously casual Zuckerberg is wearing a dark blue suit and tie, a departure from his trademark "hoodie," while Chan has on a sleeveless white dress with lace overlay. The pair wed in an intimate backyard ceremony in Palo Alto, California, according to People magazine. The couple had planned the exchange of vows for four months, but surprised their guests, who thought they were to celebrate Chan's recent graduation from medical school, the magazine reported.

Zuckerberg's sister, Arielle Zuckerberg, posted, "Balls. Now I'm the only unmarried Zuckerberg..." on her Facebook page. She is listed by Chan as a family member on the site. Zuckerberg designed a simple ruby wedding ring for Chan himself, People reported. Guests dined on food from the couple's favorite restaurants, and nibbled on mouse-shaped chocolates that the pair ate on their first date nine years ago. Tim Carvell, lead writer for "The Daily Show" with Jon Stewart, reacted to the news on Twitter, writing: "Congratulations, Mark Zuckerberg! As a gift, I got you the names of all my friends, a list of my favorite movies, and some photos of me!"

Opening Bell to Wedding Bells

Zuckerberg, whose shares are worth nearly $20 billion and who retains voting control of Facebook, marked the debut of his company's stock at Facebook's Silicon Valley campus on Friday, symbolically ringing the opening bell for stock trading. The IPO did not go as well as the social networking company had hoped, with shares closing just above the offering price of $38 a share after trading glitches and a last-minute, 25 percent increase in the number of shares being sold. More than 576 million shares changed hands, setting a trading volume record for U.S. market debuts. Facebook posted $3.7 billion in revenue in 2011 and $1 billion in profit. The site boasts 900 million global users.

Facebook's emergence as a cultural phenomenon was depicted in the fictionalized 2010 film "The Social Network." Zuckerberg, Time magazine's Person of the Year in 2010, started Facebook in his Harvard University dorm room eight years ago, before dropping out of the Ivy League school. Chan just graduated from medical school at the University of California, San Francisco. The couple met while at Harvard. Neither Zuckerberg nor Chan commented further about their marriage on their Facebook pages, and Facebook representatives did not immediately respond to e-mailed requests for comment on the wedding. The couple adopted a Hungarian sheepdog named Beast a year ago, and live together in Palo Alto.

0 Kate's Sexy Style Shows Off Her Blossoming Confidence

Sure she's still shopping at her favorite King's Road boutiques, but the Duchess of Cambridge is making a marked move toward a sexier, more daring style – and she's leaving quite an impression.

"High-level glamour is becoming more of the norm for Kate due to her role," her stylist pal Nikki Pennie, editor-at-large of StyleHaul, says in the new issue of PEOPLE. "She is becoming more playful, putting her hair in gorgeous updos to complement certain dresses. She is clearly enjoying the process and becoming more confident."

She's doing it single-handedly, too. Kate Middleton does her own makeup and doesn't have an official stylist, according to palace sources. She also doesn't accept free gifts from designers and chooses her outfits herself.

"She is becoming more and more confident, which I think is exciting to see," says Stewart Parvin, a couturier to the Queen. "The way she does her hair, the way she does her makeup is getting better and better and she has this new inner glow."
